He has a degree in social work and previously spent 7 years with a national, 1-800 children's crisis phone line (Kids help Phone) counseling youth and adults. His area of focus has been dispute resolution and crisis counseling. In addition, he also ran his own customer service business for two years in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
